Young Actors
Historical Background
Miranda's meetings with Shakespeare
Shakespeare Statue

In Elizabethan and Jacobean times young actors were trained in drama, singing and dance. Bryan Ritz is principal of the highly successful branches of Stagecoach in Harrow-on-the-Hill and Sudbury Hill. At Stagecoach we believe that only by training in drama, singing and dance will a young person develop in a fully balanced way as a performer. Eventually a person will specialise, but while young all three are required for development  At Stagecoach children from the age of 4 to 18 are trained in age groups (called Stages) in singing, dance and drama. Our productions include classic West End shows as well as Shakespeare. Stage 2 and 3 students are given copies of Backstage Books as a way of introducing the principal Bryan Ritz.
